My Favorite Bullseye Glass Fusing Firing Schedule

Glass artists are always looking for the best firing schedules. We buy a book, try it out. And then there's something else that's not quite right and we continue that search for the perfect firing schedule. Well, I've decided to share my favorite firing schedule.

Full Fuse with a Bubble Squeeze (for Bullseye)

Ramp 1 - Rate/400, Temp/1000, Time/.20 (20 minutes)

Ramp 2 - Rate/400, Temp/1150, Time/.15 (15 minutes)

Ramp 3 - Rate/50, Temp/1250, Time/.20 (20 minutes)

Ramp 4 - Rate/850, Temp/1450, Time/.15 (15 minutes)

Ramp 5 - Rate/AFAP, Temp/950, Time/.60 (1 hour)

Ramp 6 - Rate/400, Temp/100, Time/0

  1. I know you posted this last year but I just found it now while searching google. I am going to try it tonight. I have been having some difficulties with my edges over firing and your lower temp may solve my problem. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Ramp 1 - Rate/400, Temp/1000 Fahrenhiet = 538 Celsius, Time/.20 (20 minutes)

    Ramp 2 - Rate/400, Temp/1150 Fahrenhiet = 621 Celsius, Time/.15 (15 minutes)

    Ramp 3 - Rate/50, Temp/1250 Fahrenhiet = 677 Celsius, Time/.20 (20 minutes)

    Ramp 4 - Rate/850, Temp/1450 Fahrenhiet = 788 Celsius, Time/.15 (15 minutes)

    Ramp 5 - Rate/AFAP, Temp/950 Fahrenhiet = 510 Celsius, Time/.60 (1 hour)

    Ramp 6 - Rate/400, Temp/100 Fahrenhiet = 38 Celsius, Time/0
